GREEN TEA MARBLE COOKIES
I don't want to do anything much, ^^ well, it's my lazy (and very lazy month, haha).
Not that I didn't bake or cook, but I'm to lazy to pick up the camera and take a photo or a video, it's a lot easier to playing in my kitchen without shooting the video because I can sing all the time. Yes, that's the only thing that I don't like about shooting the video, it's too quiet for the people who love to listen to the music all the time like me.
But I just found something that can help me, it's a wireless headphone! Anyway, I have to tell myself not to sing (just listen to the music and dance around the oven, haha). And today I get back into the kitchen with happiness ^^.
This cookie is for my niece, I still have to bake some snack for her. It's small, cute and not too sweet. You can add more icing sugar (about 10-15g to make it sweeter) or use more matcha depends on the taste of your matcha.
You can keep the cookie dough in the freezer for 2 months, and bake whenever you want.
80g ............................. Unsalted butter, soft
..................................... Pinch of salt
50g .............................. Icing sugar
150g ............................ Cake flour
2tsp .............................. Milk
Beat the butter and salt until smooth, add the icing sugar and beat until smooth.
Put the cake flour into the bowl and mix until lightly combine.
Pour the milk into the bowl and mix until fully combine.
Remove from the bowl and divide into 2 equal parts.
Put 1 part of the dough into a bowl and sift the green tea powder into the bowl.
Mix until fully combine.
Roll both of the dough together.
The size is about 3 cm in diameter and 28 cm long.
Cut in half and cover with plastic wrap.
Refrigerate for 1 hour.
Preheat an oven to 170C., before baking.
Cut into 30 pieces (15 pieces from each dough), about 9mm thickness.
Place on the baking sheet lined with baking paper.
Bake for 20 minutes or until golden brown.
