Almond spritz cookies

 I think having a jar of delicious cookies always makes me happy ^^.


Because when working in front of the computer for a long time, I feel exhausting. All I want to do is eating something sweet, and yes a piece of cookie is the best!.
This cookie is good for keeping, as it's quite dry and crunchy (not a soft cookie), serve it with a cup of hot or cold drink in the afternoon when you need a bit of energy, and you will be happy. As the cookie dough is stiff, you need heavy duty piping bag for the job ^^", I suggest silicone one, as it strong enough to hold the dough.

 Almond spritz cookies
Makes 25-27 pieces


110g ........................... Unsalted butter, soft
90g ............................. Granulated sugar
1/2tsp ......................... Vanilla extract
1 .................................. Egg
200g ............................ All purpose flour
1/8tsp .......................... Baking powder
..................................... Pinch of salt
50g .............................. Almond powder



Preheat an oven to 180C
Line baking sheet with baking paper.


Sift the flour, baking powder and almond powder together, set aside.


 Beat the butter with sugar until smooth and light in color.


 Pour the egg and vanilla into the bowl and beat until combine.

 Pour the sifted flour mixture into the bowl.


 Mix until combine.


 Put into a piping bag fitted with 1 cm star nozzle.


 Pipe into S shape, 25-27 pieces.


Bake for 12-15 minutes or until golden brown.
